Yes, me too--the poem as membrane/lens is very compelling, and the text as
"the skin of the world" (Merleau-Ponty) has always rung true for me. I like
it that hackers call an interface a skin. Freaky, Mudge, and
Merleau-Ponty--who'da'thunk'it?
