dear hlen,

i find 'our fragile planet' to be an enviromantic notion.
by 'our', do you mean humanity?
by 'fragile planet', do you believe this planet can not cope with what is
being done to it by its inhabitants? nature is enduring, we are not.
and by 'our fragile planet' aren't you trying to lock us into a
landscape(the universe, even if it is referred to as space), a place, in
all of this infinity, where we 'belong'?

i believe we are not one humanity bound by our common love for our fragile
planet.
just as i believe we are not one australian poet, bound by our common love
of one australian landcsape.
