I was trying to get back at Kent Johnson because he sent me an e-mail that said, and I'm not joking, "David, why don't you join Poetryetc so I can debate you and kick your petit-bourgeois ass." So I joined and then he said he was just joking, that he didn't want to debate me abt anything. Maybe u can empathize with my plight. I wld like to engage in discussion abt things related to poetry. I think some of the references are over my head. I'm from Missouri, so bear with me. I like some of Radiohead, but hadn't thought of their relationship to fascist-sounding direct political action.
