Robin,
I have been following this thread concerning the Sydney Cricket Ground,
and all the games with Zimbabwe and the West Indies on Sky, and wondered
when and how it became confused with the subject of grammar.
Is it the fate of all discussions of sport on this list to end up as
discussions of language? Did it happen while I was taking the door for a
walk perhaps? Help!
