I bought it this afternoon and have only read it once. The poet of 'Funeral Music','Mercian Hymns' and marginally 'Canaan' seems to continue his descent according to my first reaction. Although I did appreciate the lament for Christopher Okigbo. I am dubious if I will get much out of it in my next readings. I wonder what Dom Fox has to say.
