In the light of all our concentrated thoughts on this, & how complex it all
is, I forward this message sent on to me by a friend working on his PhD in
history (an immmigrant from the Balkans):

My friends,

Normally I wouldn't do this, but the call for war is getting louder
and louder here in America, and I am worried that good old cowboy
mentality, combined with the fratboy excuse we have for a president,
will deliver what the people in the streets want. This is a petition
to not go to war, and I find the language of this petition to be very
careful. Please check it out and even if you choose not to sign it,
please pass it on to as many people as you can.

Thank you, Dorit.

I am afraid. I said that. I said that

                      for you.
