A reminder that tomorrow (Wednesday, August 15) is the first poetryetc SNAPSHOTS day. On that day, the first of four weekly SNAPSHOTS days, we post to the list verbal equivalents of the instamatic photograph. A moment, an instant, an image in your life, or perhaps in someone else's - delivered in whatever form seems appropriate. Prose, poetry, dialogue, haiku, alliterative stanzas, sonnets, capital letters, lower case, punctuated, unpunctuated - whatever you like. The aim is to create a cross section of poetryetc for that one day. Each post must be 100 words or less, and be headed with the title SNAPSHOT. Please put also place, date and time (eg, Melbourne, August 8, 8.19am). And please post all Snapshots to the list for our mutual enjoyment. After four weeks, the hapless instigator of this project will attempt to co-ordinate the text, and then it will be e-published on the Wild Honey Press website. At this later point it may be possible to include visual material - but remember for list posting the rule about no attachments.
