Deadline for Abstract Submission - 15

The OR & Strategy Study group of the UK OR Society are
organising a stream of papers for the next IFORS conference. The stream
will be concerned with issues relating to strategic planning at all
organisational levels. The stream organisers welcome contributions in
the following areas:
1. The contribution of Operational Research to strategic
development.
2. Current practice of strategic planning.
3. The use of models / methods to support strategic
development.
You don't have to produce a written paper
!
Giving a 'paper' at this conference means delivering a 20 minute
presentation plus answering questions for a further 5 minutes.
If you have some ideas and would like to try them out on someone before
committing to give a paper, please feel free to contact one of the stream
organisers (details below).
Abstract Submission Instructions
All people giving a paper at the conference should submit an abstract by
December 15, 2001. To submit an abstract, authorsm should use the abstract
submission form on the IFORS conference website -
http://www.IFORS2002.org. An abstract
fee is not required when you submit your abstract.
Conference Registration
Registration for the conference can be done via the conference
web-site. Submitting an abstract in response to this call for papers does
not constitute registering for the conference.
