At 18.00 on Tuesday the 18th of December the Occupational Medicine section of the Royal Society of Medicine will be holding a clinical update meeting. (registration from 17.30) Professor Stephen Eisenstein will be talking about backs and Mr Cormac Kelly will be discussing changes in shoulder treatment and surgery. On Tuesday the 15th of January the topic will be "Did the Walker Case make any difference?". Speakers will be Mr Charles Pugh giving a barrister's view, Mr Ian Mulkis will present a solicitors view and Dr Max Henderson is to give the view of a liaison psychiatrist. These meetings are free and like all academic meetings at the RSM are approved for CME/CPD (2 points each). If you are not a fellow of the RSM you will need to be "sponsored" by a named fellow. This is usually only a formality. Please contact me, or Lulu Ho in the secretariat if this is a problem. Places can be booked on line at the RSM site www.rsm.ac.uk A buffet supper is available for £18 if desired (and jolly nice it is too!)
