1. What is the name and grid ref of the two old engine houses at
Botallack?

Known as the Crowns engine houses.  The upper winding house is Pearce's whim.  Grid ref the same for both of them - SW363 336

2. There is a surviving engine house and beam engine in a china clay
works in Cornwall.  What is the name of the enginehouse and its grid
ref?

There are two beam engines in the clay area, Parkandillick and Goonvean -  grid refs to follow.

3. What are the grid refs of the two enginehouses open to the public at
East Pool?

Whim engine - SW 673 415  Pumping engine - 675418

4. At Poldark Museum, are there any headgears to go with the engines?
Also what is the grid ref of Poldark?

There is a "home made" headgear that was put up this year - not suitable for your list.

The Holman 10" x 15" coupled geared hoist was moved to King Edward mine on 16/3/01 and is awaiting re-erection on the original foundation where it was first put up in 1906
