Speaking of hydrostatic pressure, does anyone recall the now vaguely remembered (on my part) tale concerning a party of explorers in one of the Arkengarthdale (?) lead mines who discovered an ancient wooden dam with a small needle jet of water issuing from a crack in the structure, which 'stung the hand' ??
