You miss my point.
if we need to make minimal additions to our courses to meet student needs we should at least try.
For example, if we simply need to document something  which the student will experience  but not record for our registration purposes, why should we not add a couple of extra lines to the clinical journal?
Our midwifery student are modern women, able to travel and gain experience overseas. We have had wonderful experience with students from the UK having clinical placements in Australia,  we have had the influence of overseas trained midwives here since colonial days (to our benefit) and many Aussie midwives have worked and will continue to spend time o.s.
Our aim is to support midwifery and midwives.

To any Australian teachers & midwives involved in curriculum development. Make sure our courses reflect the needs of Australian families and midwives, not overseas conditions.
