Due to the successful award of a Postdoctoral Fellowship of the current postholder, applications are invited for a Research Associate to work on a project examining the social implications of innovative and established methods of prenatal genetic screening and testing funded by the ESRC Innovative Health Technologies Programme. The post-holder will work with Professor Jane Sandall at King's College, London and join a multi-disciplinary project team comprising researchers at King's College, City University and Warwick University. The post is ideal for those with research interests in social aspects of reproductive genetics or innovation in healthcare. Appropriate postgraduate qualifications and/or research experience is essential. This is a substantial post with sufficient time to develop in-depth expertise in the subject and the possibility of registering for a higher degree.
The post is fixed for term from September 2001 - March 2004 and will be based at Waterloo campus. Salary will be within the Research RAIA range from £19,412 to 23,213 inclusive of £2,134 London Allowance per annum depending on qualifications and experience. Pro-rata for part-time position.
