Help. I am searching for information on the discussions of animacules in the mid-18th century. I have references to John Hill's pieces in his Inspector periodical and I have found references in the minutes of the Spalding Gentlemen's Society where the operator, Michael Cox, a local surgeon, discusses them. I have a feeling that someone has written about animacules recently: can anyone enlighten me? Many thanks Michael Honeybone
