The University of Nottingham SCHOOL OF SOCIOLOGY AND SOCIAL POLICY Postdoctoral Research Associate Applications are invited from candidates with a PhD and experience in the textual analysis of media output for a six-month post on an ESRC-funded project exploring the implicit models of evolution in UK broadcast wildlife and nature programmes. The appointee will organize the sampling, recording and archiving of programmes and carry out preliminary analysis and some transcription. Salary will be within the range £16,775-£18,731 per annum, depending upon qualifications and experience. The post available from 1 September 2001 and will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 28 February 2001.
