Rare Books and Special Collections Cataloguer

We are seeking an experienced cataloguer to join the Historic Collections 
team. You will be cataloguing rare books and special collections material, 
both for retroconversion projects, and cataloguing current accessions as 
required. An interest and knowledge of Elizabethiana and early printing 
would be particularly advantageous for this interesting post.

You should have extensive experience of online cataloguing including MARC, 
AACR2 and assigning LCSH. Experience of rare book cataloguing is highly 
desirable. Good linguistic skills and a sound working knowledge of at least 
one European language other than English is essential.

This is a fixed-term superannuable appointment for 12 months in the first 
instance with a possibility of renewal.

Salary within the range £19,412 -£28,103 (including L.A.)
