UCL Library Services Royal Free & University College Medical School, UCL (Royal Free Campus) and Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust Medical Library Assistant Librarian: Clinical and Research Governance Support Applications are invited for this exciting new role assisting in the development of services from the Medical Library in support of clinical and research governance initiatives site-wide. The postholder will build on existing services and links and will be expected to develop these further. We are seeking a professionally qualified graduate librarian with two or more years' post-qualification experience in the provision of health and medical library and information services. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of skills in information retrieval and information management and in finding, evaluating and using health and medical information, both printed and electronic. Knowledge of the wide range of resources available to support effective clinical practice is also essential. Excellent interpersonal and IT skills are required. Some experience of developing information guides and delivering information skills training is highly desirable. Salary will be AR1 range, £19,585 - £21,620 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. In addition the post attracts a generous leave allowance and superannuation benefits.
