TIME - TWO YEAR POST
A countywide post, with
main base in Kidderminster at the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS
Trust.
The Worcestershire Health Informatics Programme (Information for Health) and the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Education and Training Consortium are supporting a number of electronic library projects as part of the local modernisation programme. These projects aim to develop countywide electronic access to clinical information and evidence for all NHS and primary care staff.
Projects include a countywide electronic resources catalogue, electronic journals access, web portal and digital library development, information access via kiosks, and information skills training.
To deliver this
programme we require an enthusiastic qualified librarian who has experience of
library management systems, electronic journals, internet-based services and
databases, and web site design and maintenance. Secondments will be considered. Salary:

of PC and web server support, of web page design, and intranet and internet
based services An interest in electronic library applications including library
management systems, electronic journals and web portal development is
desirable. Secondments will be
