Apologies for Cross Posting +++++++++++++++++++++ COLLECTIONS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER Two Year Contract Scale 5 £15,210- £16,680 (pay award pending) North East Museums Libraries and Archives Council (NEMLAC) is the new regional development agency for this sector in the north east region. The Collections Development Officer will be responsible for advising on collections management in museums, libraries and archives. In particular the postholder will provide advice to volunteer museums, on the care of library local studies collections, on museums registration, and organise related training. They will also support the implementation of the Regional Archives Strategy.Applicants should be graduates preferably with professional qualifications and relevant museum experience.
