Senior Library Assistant (CRA3)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Senior Library
Assistant to join the Bibliographic Services team in a research led
University Library.
As well as undertaking general bibliographic duties, including general
and subject cataloguing and classification, and various acquisitions
routines, you will have special responsibility for designated areas of
activity.
Together with previous experience of cataloguing in an academic
library context, you should have competent keyboard skills and a working
knowledge of at least one European language other than
English. Knowledge of MARC format and AACR2 is essential, as
is the ability to organise your workload and meet agreed deadlines.
Starting salary in the range £14,174-£16,072 (incl.
L.A.)
