ARLIS UK & Ireland PRINTS AND PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP DATE: Thursday 12 July 2001 TIME: 09:30 - 16:00 VENUE: Faculty of Art, Media and Design, University of the West of England, Bristol, Bower Ashton Campus, Kennel Lodge Road, off Clanage Road, Bristol BS3 2JT AUDIENCE: The aim of this workshop is to introduce people to the world of prints and printmaking and to enable them, by the end of the day, to be able to look at a print and tell how it was produced. There will be demonstrations of the different printing processes, for example, etching, relief printing, lithography and screen printing. Plus the opportunity to handle different prints and ask questions at a plenary session.
