** Apologies for cross posting ** UK Higher Education Digitisation Service (HEDS*) University of Hertfordshire Consultant In Digital Document Conversion Salary: £29,642 - £31,769 p.a. Ref: W3412 The task of HEDS is to convert large information resources held on a wide variety of media to electronic form. These resources are often scholarly materials or other valued assets for which increased access and availability is required. HEDS clients include libraries, museums, universities, local authorities and government departments. We are looking for a consultant with a suitable technical background to join our existing team in this highly successful and rapidly expanding service. Essential: - Graduate or equivalent expertise - Good knowledge of the technology relevant to image capture and the conversion of both textual and visual materials into digital form. - Minimum of 2 years of consultancy or research or equivalent commercial experience in digitisation and image capture.
