Power Searching on the World Wide Web - Effective Use of Search Engines, May 31, Liverpool IIS Northern Branch is repeating its popular workshop on Internet searching. Do you really know how well you are searching the Web? Are you as up to date as you think you are? Come and take part in this half-day session which will look at Internet search engines, the many features available and new services. There will be a directed hands-on session, followed by refreshments and the opportunity to discuss searching experiences. The workshop will be led by Glyn Rowland, Senior Laecturer, Information Management Group, Liverpool Business School. Glyn has been teaching the use of the Internet and the World Wide Web for many years, and specialises in the effective use of search engines. The workshop will take place on Thursday May 31, 1.30-4.30 pm at the Liverpool Business School, John Foster Building, 98 Mount Pleasant Street, in the IT Suite and Room 121. Cost: £40 (inc.
