There are still places available on the Allegro Training course "Wired for Sound" to be held at Hackney Community College, London on 28 March. The course is an introduction to music information on the World Wide Web, and assumes no wide experience of Internet use. (Those with more experience might like to consider our advanced course "Music of the Spheres". Please contact us for further details of that course)
 
Wired for Sound
 
Cost: £175 for the day including constant internet access on your own terminal, coffee, lunch and tea.
 
Objectives
At the end of the day delegates will:
be familiar with linking to the World Wide Web
know how to use a web browser
know how to construct effective searches on appropriate search tools
be familiar with music information sources on the web
know where to go to find further information

Each delegate has their own terminal and there are regular guided exercise sessions.
