CAIRNS LIBRARY Assistant Librarian Grade 4: Salary £13,938 - £16,134 Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Librarian in the Cairns Library. This is a one-year, fixed-term appointment in the first instance. The Cairns Library is a busy health care library with a main base at The John Radcliffe Hospital with site libraries at The Radcliffe Infirmary and The Churchill Hospital It serves the Medical School, University of Oxford, the School of Health Care, Oxford Brookes University and the NHS in the locality. It is also a central resource for the NHS regional library network. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic person for this first professional library post which is aimed at newly-qualified librarians with basic library experience. The post-holder will take an active part in the delivery of busy front-line services in support of evidence-based healthcare, research and education. Specific work will be allocated from a range of duties including user education, enquiry services and the delivery of services across all of our library sites.
