PhD Studentships in Information Studies
University of Northumbria
 
We are seeking highly motivated applicants for full-time doctoral level
study in the School of Information Studies.  A good undergraduate degree is
expected, and candidates should preferably also have a masters degree.  Two
Studentships are available for three years, and applications from
self-funded candidates are also welcome.   A Studentship is currently of
value £6455 p.a. plus fee payment of £2740 p.a. Suitable applicants will
also be entered for AHRB funding. Studentships are subject to satisfactory
reviews of progress.  A limited amount of teaching may be expected of the
appointees which would attract additional payment.
 
The School currently has 10 PhD students.  For more details see:

aspects of the design, development and evaluation of information systems and
services in contexts such as the public sector including libraries, museums
and archives, HE and FE, private sector companies, health information
management and records management.
