This workshop explores the developing role of managers in information and
library services; managing staff in the context of rapidly changing
circumstances; achieving results through others by motivation, communication
and delegation, practical ways to deal with difficult situations and
managing our professional and personal development. 

By the end of the event participants will have:

including communication, delegation and managing ourselves

Hudson Rivers is a management and training consultancy which helps
organisations to improve their performance through training and development
of their staff.  Beryl has worked at senior level in higher education, local
government and industry.
