JOINT COFHE SCOTLAND/UC&R SCOTLAND EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT "E-resource for E-courses" 10.00-16.00, 20th February 2002 Stirling Management Centre University of Stirling Through its visionary DNER programme the JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee) is attempting to join-up the huge collections of multimedia and electronic resources so that these are easily accessible at the most relevant point of use to students, researchers and staff across the Higher and Further Education sectors. The rapid and extensive uptake of Virtual Learning Environments for teaching and learning now means that these environments are a vitally important port of access for students. But how are the DNER and VLEs interlinked and what are some of the issues for librarians in supporting VLEs? This event is a repeat of the recent seminar held at the University of Hull.
