LIBRARY ASSISTANT Salary: £15,092 - £15,461 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, 9 Month Maternity cover An opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest specialist libraries in zoology and animal conservation, providing an information service to members of the Society, the Institute of Zoology, curatorial staff and members of the public. This is a temporary post for approximately 9 months, starting mid January 2002. You will work mainly in the Reading Room, assisting readers, answering enquiries, as well as managing the serials collection and other duties. Applicants must have 1 years experience in library information work with a relevant library qualification. Excellent inter-personal skills are essential as is a knowledge of biology or zoology.
