Tameside College Librarian APT&C Scale 5 Tameside College is a National Beacon College located eight miles to the east of Manchester. We are looking for a graduate, qualified or chartered information professional to join a busy Library and Learning Service. You will be responsible for the management and development of the Sixth Form Library and Learning Centre as well as being part of a team responsible for cross Service duties such as acquisitions, user education, cataloguing and management of the automated library system. The College’s three Library and Learning Centres are used by a wide variety of students so you should possess a friendly yet assertive manner. You should be able to instruct individuals and groups of students in their use of learning resources, have experience of working in a library or learning resources environment as well as have ICT experience.
