We seek to recruit an Archivist to manage and develop the Records Management and Archive Service. Responsibilities include preparing policies and budgets; cataloguing, indexing and conservation of archives; advising on and promoting best record-keeping practice throughout the College, including the implementation of an electronic records management system (EDM). Additionally the post-holder will answer enquiries from staff, College members and other users. As part of the overall LIS strategy, the post-holder will devise and implement initiatives to increase the use of the archives and records as an information resource, particularly through the development of web-based services. Applicants should be graduates with a recognised professional qualification in archive administration with at least three years post-qualification experience. You must be IT literate, able to work with minimum supervision and possess good organisational and analytical skills, and be a good team-worker.
