"Virtual Learning Environments and Information Skills: Issues for
Academic Libraries"

*Just what are VLEs and what do they mean for librarians?
*Why and how are they being used to enhance Information Skills
training in different contexts?
*And how can librarians support and work with academics using
VLEs?

This full-day event seeks to answer these questions, combining
talks and practical demonstrations with opportunities for group
discussion.  To be held at University of Wolverhampton Science
Park on Wednesday 14th November, from 10.00am - 4.00pm. The
cost is £35 (inclusive of VAT) to include lunch and refreshments.

what are the new skills for the profession? (Claire Ryan - Big Blue
Project and Hybrid Library Project, University of Leeds).

-Working with Academic Staff (Martin Jenkins - Cheltenham and
Gloucester Higher Education College).

-Questions and Feedback (Chaired by Mary Heaney - University of
Wolverhampton)
