The following advertisement will shortly be appearing in the LAR Appointments supplement: THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL UNIVERSITY LIBRARY ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN (USER SERVICES MANAGER) Initial salary within the range £20,267 - £26,229 We are seeking an enthusiastic, enterprising and service-oriented person to be responsible for the management of the User Services operations in a busy academic library. The post of User Services Manager is based in the Harold Cohen Library which houses the main collections in Science, Medicine and Engineering. You should have a good honours degree and a postgraduate qualification in library and information studies, or equivalent. You will have had a minimum of 2 to 3 years' previous relevant experience; proven communication, organisational and supervisory skills; an ability to lead and motivate staff and be a good team worker.
