THREE YEAR CONTRACT

Are you keen to train and support healthcare staff across Worcestershire in accessing and making effective use of evidence-based resources?

This exciting new post is funded by the West Midlands South Workforce Development Confederation and by the Worcestershire Health Informatics Programme. We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated librarians to deliver high quality and flexible training at a range of locations, including GP practices, community hospitals, clinics, health centres and local trusts. In addition to delivering training you will help to identify ongoing training needs, co-ordinate training and help evaluate its effectiveness.

You will be a qualified librarian with experience of training users to search structured da! tabases and be keen to help users effectively exploit quality information on the Internet. Your main base will be within the Worcestershire Community and Mental Health Trust, but you will be required to travel across the county to deliver training. Some out-of-hours training may be needed (e.g. evening/early morning) so you will need to be flexible in your hours of work.

Post One Full Time - 37 hours per week Ref No. 895/IMT/SFF

Post Two Part Time - minimum of 18.5 Ref No. 896/IMT/SFP
hours per week (hour negotiable)
