EMBASE: Update - 26th July 2001 ------------------------------- Following Ovid's previous message to CHEST News about the continuation of the Embase service from Ovid we (CHEST) were requested to issue a "temporary withdrawal" of the offer. That message also referred to ongoing negotiations with Elsevier on a new product. The message below has been received from Elsevier, from which you will see that Elsevier has decided that the "solution for providing Embase to the UK market at the moment would be via JISC" We had hoped to continue managing this agreement on behalf of the education community but seemingly Elsevier has been convinced otherwise.
