AIM: --- To highlight the scope for partnerships in health information and for joint working between public libraries, the NHS, and the healthcare, community and voluntary sectors. To provide examples and ideas for joint working. To identify current trends and issues for partnerships in health information provision and the relationship between reading and health. The seminar will - focus on projects in Kirklees, Calderdale and Cambridgeshire, on links between the NHS and libraries, and on models for using the web to deliver high-quality information to the public; - probe the potential for libraries to have an effective role in working for a healthy community; - be a catalyst for ideas and proposals.
