Please note that the new Centre for Political Song website is now live at http://politicalsong.gcal.ac.uk Like the Centre itself (which is still only a few months old), the website will continue to be developmental in nature. Over the next few months the database and links areas will be further enriched. At the moment the database has records for only a small percentage of the Centre's holdings (a result of Janey Buchan's original donation, now much enhanced by the numerous donations received since the Centre's press call in January); more records will be added, together with, for relevant items, audio clips, and images of covers, photographs, songsheets, and contents notes. The News section will be regularly updated - for example, we hope in the near future to announce a series of performance events being planned for this coming autumn and winter. Note also the guestbook option - please feel free to comment, or ask questions, on any aspect of the Centre's work. All feedback gratefully received!
