Hello, With the holiday period approaching, I'd like to remind users that it's possible to suspend your mail from lis-link (and all JISCmail lists) while you are away. To suspend mail from lis-link ONLY send the following command to: [log in to unmask] set lis-link nomail To suspend mail from all JISCmail lists you are subscribed to send the following command to: [log in to unmask] set * nomail When you return from the holidays send the following command to [log in to unmask] set lis-link mail OR set * mail A summary of all JISCmail user commands can be found at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/user-manual/summary-user-commands.htm Auto-responder Messages ======================= If you setup an auto-responder message while you are away, could you please either configure it not to respond to list messages, or suspend your list mail as described above. At the moment, anyone posting to lis-link usually receives around 10-15 of these messages from individuals on the list.
