Or all those ejournals and other resources university libraries link to that
are not at the top level of a site and the varied resources linked from
academic departments, all of which must total hundreds or more. Do we have
to link to home pages and give complex instructions on how users get to what
they need?
I understand the viewpoints of our legal experts, but these differ from
common usage and think of the practicalities of changing existing links.
Oh, and have we defined 'deep' linking - anything below the home page?
