Hello
I work on Research Central, the research based BBC intranet site which is
run by information professionals and used by BBC staff for programme/work
research all around the UK, plus some overseas users. We are interested in
sharing ideas on creating and maintaining intranets for a large and diverse
audience, particularly with other organisations who've done some useability
work. Does anybody know which University libraries (preferably based in
London & the South East) are considered to be at the fore front of library
intranet (or extranet as some Universities have this?) provision, and who
has done a lot of usability testing and accessibility testing (for users
with disabilities)? If possible we would be really interested in seeing
other successful intranets, and inviting people to come and see ours, and
hopefully to get some constructive criticism and share useability
experience.

Thank you
Linda
