I have a student who is looking for information on the top 10/20 academic textbooks in a variety of subject areas eg management, law, nursing, history. Does anyone know where I could find this sort of information? PLR Web site is fine for books borrowed from public libraries, but not academic books. I have also tried the Bookseller, but no help there. LISU at Loughborough are not aware of anything either. Not clear whether the student wants information based on borrowing or purchasing, but given the apparent dearth, I think anything would be welcome.
