ASLIB (Scottish Branch) visit to the Special Collections at Glasgow
University Library

There are still a few places left on the ASLIB (Scottish Branch) visit to
the Special Collections at Glasgow University Library, one of the foremost
resources in Scotland for academic research and teaching. Built up over a
period of more than 500 years by purchase, gift and bequest, the collections
now contain more than 200,000 manuscript items and around 200,000 printed
works, including over 1,000 incunabula.

The visit will take place on the afternoon of Thursday 22nd November. David
Weston Keeper of Special Collections and Head of Preservation will speak on
the development of services and future plans.

The visit is being organised by ASLIB Scottish Branch and will be free of
charge. If you would like to attend please email [log in to unmask]
