Dear All,

JOIN US IN THE POTTERIES

There are still places available for the visit to Stoke-on-Trent Archives and
The Potteries Museum, on Tuesday 25th September 2001.
Hanley Library , which houses Stoke-on-Trent City Archives, and The Potteries
Museum next door are located in the heart of the Cultural Quarter of the
City.
Together they hold a great deal of material relating to the ceramics industry
and the visit has been arranged with this in mind.
The visit will commence at 10.00 am with a tour of The Potteries Museum
taking
in galleries and some "behind the scenes" areas. Lunch will be at
approximately
12.30 and can be taken at the Museum or a nearby cafe.
At 2.00 pm we will move next door to Hanley Library for a visit to
Stoke-on-Trent Archives where there will be an opportunity to view the
Clarice
Cliff Archives and other materials relating to the ceramics industry and
local
artists.
The day will end with tea and coffee at approximately 4.00pm.
