Context based help is provided at the bottom of every screen. When you click
in the author box the help text relates to author searching.

Interesting, but where are the Help notes for how to enter an author
statement? Buried right at the end of the Help screen is a note for
searching for an author in the retrospective catalogue on the Advanced
page, but otherwise, zip!
