ASVIN Seminar : Library co-operation and collaboration

Wednesday 25th April 2001 British Library

9.30am - 4.15pm.

The ASVIN project, funded by the Research Support Libraries Programme, has
spent eighteen months researching the potential for collaborative collection
management with a group of veterinary and animal health library and
information services. The purpose of this seminar is the dissemination of
those findings, and to hear other speakers discussing their experiences in
some of the fields that ASVIN has researched. Whilst the project
concentrated on the animal health and veterinary information field, the
seminar will not be as subject specific.

As a result the seminar will be of interest to librarians and information
professionals working in the veterinary and animal health field, and also
anyone with an interest in library co-operation. There is no charge for the
seminar and coffee, lunch, and tea will be provided.
