Creative Programming & Effective Management 

GEM LONDON/CLMG TRAINING DAY

Cost:   £10 GEM member        £25 non-member (includes sandwich lunch)


This day is run in conjunction with the Campaign for Learning through
Museums and Galleries to highlight a variety of projects recently funded by
theDfES Museums and Galleries Education Programme (MGEP).  Case studies have
been selected to provide a cross-section of programming ideas and the talks
will focus on the challenges of running an effective project - from start to
finish!  Subjects covered will include: funding, project development,
reaching new audiences, working in partnership, creating opportunities for
making a collection available off site and evaluation.  The afternoon will
include a workshop focusing on effective project management. There will also
be an opportunity to learn more about the recent work of the clmg..... and
of course to enjoy the exciting venue of the British Library and visit the
exhibition, Lie of the Land: the secret life of maps.
