Dear Jane Long time no speak. The Hunterian Museum in Glasgow are doing interesting things with interactives, both virtually (they are doing some leading developments with Quicktime VR) and physically - quite neat display on hominid evolution and they are exploring the use of "haptic" virtual-touch displays allowing you to "feel" objects with a "touchy-feely" mouse (?!). I know they are still working on many of their QTVR stuff and it is not all on their web-site yet. http://www.hunterian.gla.ac.uk/ Jim Devine is their contact there - a really nice chap. Can anyone recommend anywhere with good ideas for interactives on this period? Alternately good use of interactives for any period??? Many thanks, Jane Sarre ---------------------------------------------------------------- Interpretation Officer Museum of London London Wall London EC2Y 5HN t: 020 7814 5772 f: 020 7600 1058 e: [log in to unmask] www.museumoflondon.org.uk
