Dear Jane

Long time no speak.

The Hunterian Museum in Glasgow are doing interesting things with
interactives, both virtually (they are doing some leading developments with
Quicktime VR) and physically - quite neat display on hominid evolution and
they are exploring the use of "haptic" virtual-touch displays allowing you
to "feel" objects with a "touchy-feely" mouse (?!). I know they are still
working on many of their QTVR stuff and it is not all on their web-site yet.

Jim Devine is their contact there - a really nice chap.

Subject: archaeology/prehistory interactives

Hi,

We're working on a new prehistory gallery at the moment, and are working up
ideas for interactives. Can anyone recommend anywhere with good ideas for
interactives on this period? Alternately good use of interactives for any
period???

Many thanks,

Jane Sarre
