(If you can assist with this request, please reply to Fiona Mitchell at [log in to unmask]) I am currently working on a research project in collaboration with National Missing Persons Helpline which aims to provide a baseline profile of missing persons reported to the charity, analyse patterns of going missing and return, and identify the reasons for going missing. Amongst the people reported missing to the Helpline are a number of young asylum seekers and I am interested to find out more about this population. I recently came across the Forced Migration mailing list after searching for information on the position of child refugees in the UK. I am interested in finding out if there is any research going on in this area particularly in relation to unaccompanied asylum seekers and their needs. Any advice on sources or direction that could be offered would be most welcome. Best wishes Fiona Mitchell Research Assistant Social Work Research and Development Unit, University of York National Missing Persons Helpline, PO Box 28908 London SW14 7ZU Tel: 0208 392 4537 Fax: 0208 878 7752 Email: [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> or [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> Note: The material contained in this communication comes to you from the Forced-migration Discussion List which is moderated by the Refugee Studies Centre (RSC), University of Oxford.
