Dear Ed, Talk about communication .... ! Nowhere on the LEAF web site or questionnaire site is "name authority file" or "authority file" defined ! What the heck are these ? Names of authorites ? Local authority names ? Named authorities? Authorities of what ? ((obviously not authorities in making things understandable!)). Please excuse my ignorance of these things, but name-dropping, or in this case, jargon-dropping, doesn't cut any ice with me.
