Thanks Isabel, However at the moment we're not looking to expand the Period terms list any further, pending the development of the Timelines thesaurus (draft available at http://www.rchme.gov.uk/thesaurus/construction.htm for those who haven't seen it). The FISH e-conference last year (see the message archives for this list for January to May 2000) opened up a lot of issues which this thesaurus will need to address, including different Classes of Time term as you suggest. What we've got so far is only a draft, and there may be need for further discussion, but I suggest this needs to wait till we've got something more to comment on.
